Crystal Wash works by moving around in with your laundry. As the water moves through the ball it changes the pH balance of the water. The higher Alkaline water allows the dirt and nasty stuff in your clothes to come out naturally. Also this process creates a natural Hydrogen Peroxide which in turn disinfects your clothes, and that wipes out the germs and bacteria that causes odors. The best part is instead of going to the store to get more soap... All you have to do with these is to put them in the sun for a few hours. If you want a scent in your clothes you will need to use a scented fabric softener, or add some of those scent release beads.
