So we got the training whistle, and training Rufus (the puppy not the boy hahaha) has been slow going, but I think that's more to the fact of training not being consistently done. He normally barks out the window at anyone that walks on the sidewalk even if they are across the street. I will say though that when I do 2 short whistles he actually stops so that is AWESOME! I do think that this would be a good tool to have with training any animal. It is a lot better than yelling commands like some people do. 

I also like that the whistle is quite small. Makes it very easy to place in your pocket or key chain and take with you. You could also put it on a necklace without it being heavy around your neck.
