I think this is a great table to use bedside, or anywhere really. I use mine as a side table next to my chair in the living room. It is really easy to put together, and comes with the tools needed. The lever to adjust the height is easy to control with one hand, and it can really adjust to fit most all comfort levels. The only thing I would suggest is if you have a beverage on the table be very careful while moving the table as it could slide around since there is no groove for it to sit in. I highly recommend this table!
